LaudaMotion is Austria’s answer to Ryanair, no wait, we meant it is Ryanair. Yes, Ryanair bought the troubled ULCC a few years ago and…..well it’s Ryanair. If you want to get somewhere cheaply and don’t care that you’ll be charged a fortune if you’ve forgotten your boarding pass, or need a bag in the hold, then Laudamotion is for you.
For us, the idea of flying any airline run by Ryanair makes us feel unwell, so it’s fortunate we have a few sick bags on hand, just in case. These LaudaMotion bags have a little bit of a sense of humour, saying in German ‘Mir ist nicht übel, mir ist nicht übel, mir ist…übel’. In English it reads, ‘I”m not sick, I’m not sick, I’m….Sick!’ That made us smile. We have a few of these so if you’d like one, but would rather chop your left arm off than fly LaudaMotion, this may be your best option.
