Deutsch BA was one of those weird ‘What were they thinking’ kind of of airlines. DBA was born in 1992 when BA bought a controlling interest in Friedrichthafen based airline Delta Air. Having rebranded, the aircraft were repainted in various BA liveries, including the much hated ‘World Tails’. This Boeing 737-400 had a more conservative livery, painting the tail details with the colours of the German flag. DBA final disappeared when it was sold to Air Berlin, Which obviously was a great move. This Model is part of some old, discontinued stock that found its way to us here at Der Flugplatz. The model is in mint condition though its box is less neat and tidy, due to age.
