This little set of wings marked many a child’s first flight with the British flag carrier, BOAC. Most of the early pins featured the letters BOAC above the Junior jet club shield, but later ones just featured the shield and wings. The junior jet club eventually was replaced as BOAC and BEA Merged to become British Airways, so this pin mars the end of an era in one way.
