This is an unusual pin. We can’t remember where it came from, but we love it. This is a soviet-era pin, celebrating the Antonov A 7 Glider. The A 7 (Antonov, 7 people capacity) glider was designed as a transport glider. When Germany declared war on Russia in 1941, the A 7 was put into production for the Soviet state. 400 were produced from 1941 to 1945 and this pin is designed to celebrate that. Featuring the A 7 glider with 1941-1945 sitting underneath, this is a great little enamel pin. It is roughly 17mm x 12mm, made of brass and enamel, with a small clip pin on the rear. We have no idea how old it is, just that it is rather old.
